How can you be content with insult?
2 Corinthians 12:9-10: But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong. How do you get to the point of being content with insult? What in the world was the Apostle Paul talking about? Greek meaning for weakness is “limitation or sickness” Romans 5:3: Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, Rejoice in suffering…how do we do that? Knowing that the suffering will produce endurance Insult in this verse could even mean physical violence How do I hide my weakness?
